Appalachian State University Registrar
Appalachian has a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Center. You can take the GRE and PRAXIS I Series at this center and get your scores immediately. Tests can be scheduled at your convenience (don't need to wait for national testing days). Call 262-6801 for more information or to schedule a test (after Sept. 1). Hours of operation for the fall semester are:
- Mondays, Thursday, and Fridays -- 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays -- 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM
- Saturdays -- 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
